PAT Testing

Portable Appliance Testing helps ensure that electrical appliances and equipment is safe to use. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require such equipment to be maintained in a safe condition, and PAT testing is one way to ensure that this regulation is met.

Landlord Services

The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 require landlords to have the electrical installations in their rented properties inspected and tested by a qualified and competent person at an interval of at least every 5 years. For convenience this inspection, leading to the issue of an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is often combined with PAT testing where appliances are provided by the landlord.
